Compliance Officer - Debt Recovery Litigation
Are you an experienced Compliance specialist from a Debt Recovery, Secured Services, Collections or regulated industry with a strong understanding of this area and passion to succeed?
Successful applicants will be required to undertake a CRB and Credit check and therfore a clear credit history together with no criminal record is required.
We now have an exciting position with our client who is an accredited and fully authorised specialist Debt Recovery Litigation law firm based in the vibrant city centre of Manchester.
The main purpose of his role is to conduct timely and business critical Audits in line with the Group’s Compliance Monitoring Plan. The Compliance Monitoring Officer will review core business controls and processes as part of the Plan, providing advice, guidance and 2nd line challenge to the business, ensuring that regulatory and business standards, policies and procedures are adhered to, and remedial action is owned and implemented following an Audit.
The successful candidate will proactively engage with key stakeholders to address the root cause of any risks identified during Audits, ensuring that the risks are mitigated within Ascent’s risk appetite while also influence timely andeffective remedial action in response to Audit findings. You will support the Conduct and Risk Manager in contributing to the continuous improvement and development of the Compliance Monitoring function along side encouraging compliant culture within the business through effective communication.
The ideal candidate has a passion has a passion for continuously delivering a superior customer experience, with excellent listening skills and attention to detail. Experience using a case management system is desirable.
