IT Support Executive

St Albans

£25,000 to £30,000 per annum

My client based in St Albans is looking to recruit an IT Support Executive to provide assistance to their customers on all products and associated services, using remote access, telephone and email.

Outline of Duties

  • Answering the Support Lines and logging all contact in the CRM
  • Proactively learn all products
  • Progressing Cases until resolution, making sure the customer is always kept up to date.
  • Logging all bugs, requirements and issues.
  • Escalating customer cases to the Support Manager where there is a potential that are becoming sensitive.
  • Liaising with technical staff
  • Liaising with colleagues and customers to provide a professional service
  • Fault Finding to resolution
  • Offer advice to customers on new features across the product range to create more sales opportunities.
  • Update IT systems as necessary to maintain a contact database.
  • Suggest ways to improve efficiency in the day to day operations.

Skills Required for role

  • Good problem solving skills
  • Organised and Methodical approach
  • Knowledge of all products and 3rd party supporting applications ( In house training provided )
  • Good ability Microsoft Products
  • Good ability in fault finding in TCP/IP Networking, Routing and Firewalling
  • HP Hardware knowledge
  • Knowledge of Mobile devices, printers and device drivers
  • Good Customer and communication skills.
