The Role:

As the Charity Shop Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of our client’s shop in Haverhill.

Recruiting, motivating and supporting a team of volunteers, you’ll develop their skills to ensure that they provide a superb customer experience and shopping environment.

Additionally, you will:

- Act as an ambassador for the charity
- Create innovative ways to generate donations
- Manage stock deliveries and collections
- Effectively present merchandise, both throughout the store and in the shop window
- Manage the financials of the store
- Oversee cash handling and maintain accurate records

About You:

To be considered, you will need:

- Retail management experience, gained in a high street or charity retail environment
- Proven experience of team management, staff development and team leadership
- Strong IT skills
- A good understanding of health and safety best practice
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Experience of an EPOS system would be beneficial to your application. A vocational qualification in retail management, customer care or volunteer management would also be an advantage.
