This is an opportunity to join an internationally successful and family owned Insurer within their growing IT set up a SQL Reports (SSRS) Developer. They focus within the Legal expenses insurance industry and have been driving to become one of the leading names in the industry since their launch in 2006. IT has been a huge focus of this expansion with huge investment in software development and internal infrastructure, this role within the Management Information (MI) team is driving the next phase of growth.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

It is vital that you have a solid background within a SQL Developer role with excellent SSRS knowledge and a real passion for developing accurate MI. In addition, a good knowledge of stored procedures and supporting the administration and development of a MS SQL Server Database environment. Ideally you will come with a professional services background and be competent and content with communicating to various stakeholders.

Role Summary

The SSRS Reports Developer is primarily responsible for the development of new queries and reports as required by the Management team to support the business’ goals. This will include liaising with internal and external stakeholders to understand and interpret the MI needs of each department, data preparation, data analysis, the writing and optimisation of stored procedures and SSRS reports. In doing so, the Reports Developer supports the wider Development team in the maintenance of the company’s database(s) including SQL server(s).
