Account Executive - Promotional Merchandise and Toys
We are looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team at a successful and well established company in the Godalming area. We work in an exciting industry; supplying toys, promotional merchandise and advertising gifts to both national and international clients.
Our office is just a short walk away from Godalming train station, so easy to get to if you are coming by train and close to the high street which is great for getting out at lunchtime.

The successful candidate will be aiding both our Sales and Order Processing teams. Full Training will be given so that you will gain experience across 2 core areas of the business. We have a comprehensive mentoring programme for new employees so you will be well looked after when you start.
Role responsibilities will be split over two key areas of the business:
Providing support to the Order Processing Team. Consisting of the following;
You’d be supporting the order processing to team to help manage the production and delivery of orders. This will involve working with our suppliers during production and communicating with clients throughout the order process.
Providing support to the Account Managers. Consisting of the following;
This side of the role will involve working with the account manages to create, develop, and sell a range of products to clients; including toys, promotional items, and stationary. This is where creativity will be really important, as our customers always want new ideas.
Once an idea is liked you’ll be helping negotiate prices with both suppliers and clients to get the product ordered. As well as regular trips out to retail shops and tradeshows to keep on top of trends, there will also be plenty of client meetings at their offices and ours. So being confident and able to present yourself well in front of an audience will be important.
- The Account Executive must have a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are really important in this role.
- Experience with Outlook, Word and Excel is advantageous. Competent math skills are very useful as we work with a lot of measurements and numbers.
- Experience in Illustrator and Photoshop.
- A creative background in graphic design, fine arts, or an art A level or degree.
- High grades in Maths and English at GCSE level.
20 days holiday per annum (28 including bank holidays)
£17000 - £19,000K per annum depending on experience.
