Sewell Wallis are recruiting a Finance Manager for a high growth market leader based in West Yorkshire.

*The role will be responsible for the production of all financial reporting and group consolidations, ensuring that submissions to group and all external parties are both timely and accurate.
*Responsible for the maintenance and operation of all financial controls, ensuring a tight controls environment is in operation across the whole business.
*Lead on all audit relationships - acting as the key contact point for the external and internal audit partners.
*Responsible for the day to day management of a team of 4 - mentoring, coaching and developing.
*Responsible for the Quarterly regulatory returns.
*Identifying and responding to developments in financial reporting and communicating them to the business.
*Developing internal relationships to help teams understand the impacts of business developments on financial reporting
*Developing external networks to ensure that the organisation's financial reporting is best in class.

To be successful, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a strong Financial Accounting/Group reporting background. You will be a confident leader capable of influencing both up and down and carrying out organisational change to ensure best practice is always adhered to.

The role is not for a candidate who is happy to tick over in a BAU environment who sees their role as just completing the month end reporting cycle. You will actively seek opportunities to make improvements, immerse yourself in projects in the wider business and want to make a difference.
