Looking for that career development in Complex Nutrition Support? This post, based at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow- a teaching hospital which has an international reputation, could be just what you are looking for. Joining an acute team of 9.3 WTE Surgery / Critical Care dietitians in the delivery of an evidence based in and out patient service. You will provide a clinical service to acute in patients in General Surgery and Critical Care wards working closely with the Consultant and Nursing Teams as well as a multi disciplinary Nutrition Support Team. Out-patient clinics may also be required for cover purposes. We are looking for an HCPC registered Dietitian who has some experience in acute surgery / critical care, management of oral / enteral and parenteral nutrition support and in employing dietary strategies that support the symptoms and / or medical management of this patient population.
It is essential that you have a BSc Human Nutrition & Dietetics or PGD / MSc Dietetics and you have current registration as a Dietician with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council). The hours of this post are 30hrs per week worked 4 days over 7. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme.
