Digital Marketing Executive - PPC/Email Marketing

My client are an independent retail & marketing group headquartered in Andover, Hampshire. With over 50 years' history and over 500 members, they support a network of Independent Electrical Retailers with product access whilst also allowing customers to buy direct from their new ecommerce platform. As part of a large-scale buying group they support their business network with central POS marketing support as well as access to a greater consumer reach. Due to continued expansion of their digital capabilities the team has been growing steadily for the past few years, and we are now recruiting the job of Digital Marketing Executive (Paid Search & Email) due to some further changes within the team.
Your new role
Your job will be to work closely with the Online Manager & agency partners to manage day to day creation of paid search campaigns through a number of channels, including Google AdWords, and email campaigns both for both the brand and on behalf of their suppliers.
The primary channels for this job are paid search and email marketing activities, therefore you will assist the search agency in generating reports and key performance indicators from Google Analytics. You will be responsible for communicating digital advertising to agencies including; SEO - assisting where necessary to provide additional information, word-linking, and producing copy writing and social updates when required; PPC Campaigns - creating AdWords campaigns; Display Advertising - working with the team and third party agencies to agree then implement and develop paid adverts within agreed .com sites; and Remarketing - creating adverts in conjunction with external third parties to target previous visitors of the website, using text, images and video. In addition, you will be asked to write occasional articles for ad copy and blogs for the website, as well as coordinating and writing for email campaigns using tools such as Mailchimp.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will show a desire to produce content and campaigns that show a provable ROI, and will be keen to keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends, which will be visible in your work. Your experience should include:
* Experience using Google Adwords with a track record of proven success in this area. This includes a good understanding of 'Bids' and the ability to demonstrate a level of understanding to gain incremental leads
* Creating and designing email marketing campaigns
* Writing campaign briefs
* Full working knowledge of Google Adwords and Google Analytics.
* Full working knowledge of creating adverts, key words, negative words
* Proven background in the ability to produce unique copy
* Analysing data and trends and the ability to make suggestions/changes to the digital campaigns
What you'll get in return
