My client, a Global Distribution business based in Eccles, require a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to effectively manage and improve the Purchase Ledger processes and manage a small team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the Purchase Ledger process, annual review of payment terms on accounts, checking of payment runs, maintenance and reconciliation Direct Debit Accounts, complex Reconciliations, setting KPI’s for the Purchase Ledger team and improving compliance. You will also be responsible for training, appraisals and target setting.

My client offers exciting challenges for their employees to help develop your career, you will participate in relevant projects including implementing a new expense process, updating company policies and procedures and a SAP integration.

You must have 5 years minimum experience in purchase ledger and at least 2 years’ experience working in a Management/Supervisory role.

You will have excellent attention to detail and be a good communicator. Experience with using SAP and MS Excel including look ups and pivots is essential.

This is an exciting time to become part of an established family business. My client is paying a salary of £23,000 £30,000 plus excellent benefits.
