I am currently working with a large organisation based in Dover that are recruiting for a talented Capital Accountant. My client are seeking a fully qualified accountant with project experience, who has costing, niche tax and EU grant experience.
My client are currently undergoing a huge £250m project. This role plays a fundamental part in the ongoing success of the project and the future of the organisation.
The role will include but not be limited to the following:
Monitor, analyse and report on the capital costs incurred by the business and its subsidiaries with particular reference to the project.
Report on grant submissions ensuring compliance with the legislation and maximising cash flows, including liaising with funding bodies in the EU.
Produce weekly cash flows for all capital related spend ensuring all certificates are in order and are paid according to the contract.
Be responsible for the tax planning opportunities and to work with the team and external tax advisors to mitigate tax exposure as appropriate.
Your profile will be similar to the following:
- Qualified accountant (Minimum 3 years experience PQE).
Higher education to degree level or equivalent.
Capital and tax background desirable.
Knowledge of technical accounting issues and regulations.
