We currently provide a range of adult health and wellbeing services in over 20 local authorities. Services include: weight management, physical activity (including GP referral), smoking cessation, intensive personal support, healthy eating and drinking, health checks and other healthy lifestyle promotion, outreach, support and training services – either directly or through trusted partners.

About the Role

The post holder will be responsible for delivering and leading on the specialist clinical aspects of the Reed Momenta interventions being delivered as part of the One You Leeds (OYL) Service. The post holder will work to professional and regulatory body codes, standards and guidance at all times ensuring that their practice is grounded in evidence based theoretical and practical knowledge

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Ensure all service delivery meets with the relevant clinical expectations, safeguarding both participants and staffBuild and maintain positive and effective relationships and partnerships both internally and externally to the organisationImplement, monitor and maintain agreed standards of care, reporting to the Health and Well Being Manager/Clinical Lead when standards are not met.Ensure at all times that information and/or key messages are expressed in a way that is clear, accessible to all and factually correct.

Required:
A degree or equivalent qualification in a health-related subject conferring professional status (e.g. health improvement, promotion, public health, nutrition etc);Professional qualification & registration with a professional body relevant to at least one of the service streams (adult weight management, behavioural support for dietary or physical activity change, smoking cessation, exercise on referral).

Desirable:
Professional qualification & registration with a professional body relevant to at least two of the service streams (adult weight management, behavioural support for dietary or physical activity change, smoking cessation, exercise on referral)Post graduate learning to masters level equivalentLeadership and management qualificationTeaching, training or mentorship qualification or experience to an equivalent level
