Digital Optimisation Manager

We know the importance of keeping ahead of the game and Digital Marketing is leading the way. As the Digital Optimisation Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Digital Optimisation Manager in driving the performance for the website. For this role you should have been involved strategic digital testing, with an analytical background and experience of improving online conversion funnels from various traffic sources.

Currently based in our Marketing suit in Northampton we will be moving to Raunds in 2020 to our new purpose built offices.

Responsibilities in brief

Work to the set budgets and forecast to ensure that the relevant KPI’s are met.
Drive the implementation of initiatives to continually increase conversion rate across the relevant digital channels.
Manage and initiate improvements around the digital experience across all current / future applications ensuring alignment with any pilot and / or digital programme goals.
Using the CMS, design and drive the optimisation/ UX for the relevant digital platforms that includes user journeys and usability testing.
Work very closely on an on-going daily basis with the Digital UX Programme team, to propose, scope and quantify future updates to the digital platform.
Understand the emotions and motives of customers and end-users in their online journeys to create solutions which will enhance their experience.
Have a well-defined usability testing strategy that provides us with valuable insights on how to improve the UX experience.
Become the subject matter expert within the experience space so that this element of any user journey is continuously at the forefront of any suggested changes
Monitor progress against plans and provide weekly status reports, highlighting key issues and new risks.
Ensure that all business decisions are based on data analysis, insights and drive value for the customer and prospect funnels.
A champion in Google Analytics you’ll use this as a primary data source to analyse a wide range of areas from traffic conversion.

Skills & experience

Experience with a variety of research techniques including user interviews, stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, user journey mapping, usability testing, traffic / funnel analysis etc
Strong demonstrable experience in requirements gathering, storyboarding, wire frames and UX principles
Understanding of online behaviours and how customer journey is amended to reflect these
Ability to demonstrate latest Optimisation, personalisation and UX design trends, thinking, compromising and ultimately delivery
Proven experience within optimisation, personalisation and UX
Excellent understanding of Digital Marketing and ideally E-commerce
Highly analytical and data driven with extensive knowledge of google analytics
Strong CMS experience, ideally in Sitecore
CRO experience and a thorough understanding of current SEO best practice
Commercially astute with experience of working within a fast paced customer centric environment
Ability to engage audiences at all levels
An experienced team manager who can demonstrate a track record in managing, developing and motivating others
Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail & highly organised
A team player, creative, dynamic, detail-minded and independent
