Reed Accountancy Colchester are delighted to be working exclusively with a large employer of choice based in Colchester in recruiting a Temporary Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is an interim position for 3-4 months and would suit a bright enthusiastic person who would become an integral part of the team. Applicants MUST have experience in Purchase Ledger and be Available Immediately.

As a core member of the team you will be required to;

• Code and check invoices
• Code and check invoices
• Calculate VAT payments
• Pay out money via BACS or by cheque
• Check and reconcile supplier statements
• File invoices and statements
• Deal with purchase enquiries
• Process staff expenses

The Ideal candidate will have;

• A detailed understanding of Purchase Ledger Accounting
• Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and reliable
• A good team player
• Able to organise and manage their own workload
• Able to remain calm under pressure
• A good communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional Information

• 40 hours a week (Mon-Fri)
• Use of own vehicle due to office location
• Free onsite parking
