Reed Accountancy are currently recruiting for a local, successful construction business that is looking to employ an Accounts Assistant to undertake the company book keeping and payroll. This job will be responsible for all transactional accounts and monthly payroll within a small team.

Job duties include:

* Purchase ledger: processing invoice, coding to jobs and inputting onto the Sage system.
* Sales ledger: generating invoices and credit notes
* Review aged debt and chasing customers for payment
* Month end critical activities
* Dealing with queries and reporting to the Managing Director
* Processing the monthly payroll for 20 permanent staff and 10-15 sub contractors
