Experienced Finance Controller/ Book keeper required for this established and successful business. You will be in a trusted role and a key holder for the business ,so we are looking for someone who can demonstrate responsibility and maturity. You will be reporting directly into the MD and preparing profit & loss statements and discussing /advising and managing the day to day accounts for the company, book keeping and all financial related queries. Managing a team of three, managing all accounting reports and analysis from expenses to vat returns.

You will be an expert in using SAGELINE 50, Be AAT qualified or qualify by experience

You will have a strong sense of commercial awareness, solid analytical skills, confident personality who is approachable and able to deal with everyday HR issues and problem solving. This is a nice varied role and needs a stable solid person to join this team, they all muck in and help out and make a highly motivated group. They require direction when needed and support sometimes but definately not micro management.

Ideally you will live in St.Albans/Hatfield - 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday. We are looking for a team player who is friendly and approachable and business like and able to direct the team and assist them. A good sense of humour is a must and the muck in approach will also need to be you too in order for you to fit in with this organisation. This is a small and very successful team and they need someone to take some pressure off of the MD and to give direction through figures and analysis to the MD. This role would ideally suit someone local to the area who wants a long term structured role. You would be a right hand person to the MD and hold a key role within this organisation. You will be managing bank accounts, credit control, accounting, preparing cash flow statements, managing staff expenses completing vat returns, checking employee hours and timesheets. This is a very nice company and they would like to employ someone like minded, respectful of others and hard working and able to juggle tasks.
