Accounts Assistant – Wellingborough – Permanent – Competitive Salary

The Company

This company has been established for over 100 years, they operate worldwide and are a world leader in their sector.
The benefits that come with the package are 25 days holiday, private medical insurance and pension of 5%/5% matched contribution. The working hours are 8.30 - 5.15 Mon to Thurs with a 30 minute lunch, and 8.30-1pm on Fridays.

The Role

In this role you will be assisting the Financial Manager in accounts reporting and supporting them with functions within the Finance department. You will be responsible for preparing management packs, VAT returns, payroll, maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, reconciliations and journals.

The Candidate

You will need to be studying AAT or part ACCA/CIMA qualified, have good knowledge of accounting and payroll practices and practical experience within an Accounts/Finance department.

As an individual this company is looking for someone who has strong written and verbal communication skills, an ability to work well within a team, have problem solving skills and a high attention to detail.
