Urgently seeking teaching assistants in Loughborough
CER Leicester are working in partnership with an amazing Special School in Loughborough which cater for pupils between the ages of 4 and 19 with a range of special educational needs. Working from a state of the art purpose built school, pupils have access to a wide range of specialist facilities, including
- heated swimming pool
- multi-sensory and soft play rooms
- dedicated art, music and cookery rooms
- extensive playground facilities.
Pupils achieve high levels of personal progress at the school each year and the staff are warm, welcoming and all work together to achieve positive outcomes for all pupils.
Pupils are provided with access to the full curriculum of subjects that would be available to them in mainstream settings, as well as a wide range of extracurricular activities promoting the development of their independence and personal and social skills.
CER are seeking educational professionals who are able to support pupils at the school on a day to day basis working as support workers or teaching assistants. The work offered is on a day by day supply basis in the first instance and you must have previous experience working in schools in a similar role. This work often leads to longer term full time work or contracted work at the school after a period of time.
