Strategic Business Development Director
Our client, an investment business with an outsourcing function in the heart of Manchester which has experienced exponential growth both organically and through acquisition, is seeking a highly passionate and driven individual to build and shape a servicing function aimed at a range of FS clients with the aim of further enhancing the company’s UK market position.
Reporting directly to the UK MD, your role will be broadly two fold;
Origination – developing client strategies to leverage opportunities for new UK servicing business with both existing and new clients (particular focus on the major UK retail banks, credit card providers and alternative lenders to increase servicing revenue), fostering and maintaining effective relationships with senior level decision makers (coordinating all external client meetings), play a pivotal role in building the UK asset management strategy and identify trends and opportunities for new service offerings.
Overseeing the operational delivery – leading a team of 7 FTE covering client strategy and client servicing including taking responsibility for setting the team’s vision and developing those individuals furthermore working with key internal stakeholders such as Implementation, Internal Operations, Partner Management, Finance, Strategy and Risk to ensure successful delivery of new and existing client servicing contract.
Candidates must have a demonstrable track record in business development (ideally in a B2B environment) and be a strong people leader who can translate company strategy into meaningful goals for their team. It goes without saying you will be a strong influencer with a natural ability to engage at the right strategic levels within a business.
