Advanced Cardiac Clinical Physiologist - Echocardiography
The successful applicant will take responsibility for the delivery of the echocardiography service in Shetland, working as part of a wider Diagnostics Unit which includes Audiology, Medical Imaging and Laboratory services. Clinical Physiology is delivered as part of a shared service with NHS Grampian and the Advanced Cardiac Clinical Physiologist will work closely with the local clinical team as well as the Cardiology/Cardiac Physiology Department in Aberdeen.
Candidates must hold BSE accreditation or equivalent experience suitable for registration with the RCCP, together with substantial post-qualification experience in a hospital clinical physiology service. Applicants should also have good written and verbal communication skills. Teamwork is essential, as is the ability to work independently.
