Sales Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant - Temporary (Bradford City Centre, £17-19K)

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with an established and successful organisation based in Bradford city centre. They are looking to identify an Sales ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis.

Role:

The Sales Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide high level of customer services supporting both clients and suppliers.

Duties will include:

  • Reconcile supplier invoices and ensuring orders are paid on time
  • Process supplier invoices on Sage
  • Complete daily updates from online system to Sage
  • Reconcile bank account items to nominal ledger
  • Produce high quantity of sales invoices with large volumes of transactions
  • Resolve escalated accounts queries
  • Process payment receipt allocations in Sage
  • Process electronic payments via online banking system
