Senior Desktop Support Engineer - London - £40,000
Senior Desktop Support Engineer required on a permanent basis for a London based insurer. You will be working closely with the Desktop Support Engineering Manager to oversee the day to day running of the IT Desktop Engineering team. This team delivers desk side technical responses to IT related issues to key personnel across a number of our London based office locations.
As a senior desktop support engineer you will be responsible for delivering technical guidance to the team. You will also ensure IT builds are delivered accurately and consistently, taking into account the agreed company build specifications. The successful candidate will be expected to manage and develop engineering staff to help ensure they remain in line with IT progress and developments. As well as, Co-ordinating 3rd party hardware repairs and maintenance where problems cannot be resolved in house.
Knowledge and Experience
- Microsoft Windows 7+ / Microsoft Exchange / Windows server 2008+ / Office 365
- Active Directory
- Incident and Change Management
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Strong background in Windows
- ITIL Foundation V3 certificate
