Financial Advisor

Estimated Package Value circa £45k-£50k PA

Reporting to the Chief Executive

Polkadotfrog is proud to advertise this rewarding Financial Advisor position for a well-respected company based in Norwich. Our Client is looking for a new addition to the team to provide investment advice across a variety of financial products and services maintaining the specialist relationships & service that their clients have come to expect.

This role would be ideally suited to candidates who possess an FCA approved qualification as well as high levels of commercial awareness, strong verbal and written communication, people management, influencing and negotiating skills, and numerical aptitude.

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • Appropriate technical knowledge and qualification required for the role.
  • Detailed knowledge of the firms compliance procedures including record keeping requirements
  • Provision of advice to clients in a compliant manner
  • Able to work within defined business processes
  • Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision
  • Able to prioritise and plan own workload
  • Detailed and accurate
  • Articulate
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, both written and verbal
  • FCA approved Diploma

Accountabilities

  • Compliance with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FSA rules at all times
  • Compliance with the relevant Compliance, TCF, T&C, financial crime and Anti-Money Laundering procedures of the firm at all times
  • Keep up to date with all relevant products, legislation and technical changes
  • Prospect/contact potential clients
  • Ensure that sufficient client information is collected and analysed
  • Undertake sufficient market and product research
  • Ensure suitable recommendations are made
  • Ensure that all records and supporting documents are recorded and maintained
  • Attain and maintain an adequate level of competence as required by the firm
  • Maintain all standards of performance as required by the firm
  • Ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately
