Junior Applications Developer
We are committed to developing our next generation of experts and believe that by nurturing our own talent, we have a positive impact on both our people and our partners.
We continue to grow rapidly and are now able to offer an eager, ambitious individual a rare opportunity to take the next exciting step into a career as a specialist Proclaim Developer.
Who are we?
Auxillis are part of Redde plc. We work with a range of corporate clients, motor groups and insurers, delivering exceptional services 24/7, 365 days a year to motorists across the UK.
Improving end user and customer experience is at the centre of our recent success and our Proclaim case management software is a key component in allowing us to consistently implement and integrate solutions which have a tangible impact on these areas.
What will I be doing?
After initial training, (which includes formal sessions with Eclipse the software house responsible for Proclaim) you primarily be responsible for supporting end-users and peers in the day-to-day management of the system including template maintenance, user configuration, task server administration and report design and executions.
During this period you’ll be mentored by experienced colleagues who will guide your development and provide support to allow you to become increasingly involved in programming as your knowledge and confidence increase. In time, we aim to help you become a key team member able to take a full role in the design, development, testing and deployment of quality internally and externally facing applications.
Is this role for you?
Put simply, you have a talent for programming and you’re keen to test yourself in an environment where you can develop and learn new skills. You may not have 'work’ experience, but you’ll already know one or two programming languages - even if you’ve not used them in a formal environment.
It's possible that this will be your first dedicated Developer role but know you are capable of more than your current role offers. We are looking for those who have earned a good reputation in their current company and have a perceptive, logical outlook, able to work in partnership to solve issues.
Ideally, your knowledge will be underpinned by formal training and qualifications (e.g. a relevant IT discipline degree) and an understanding of software developing life cycles however this isn’t essential.
In return, you can expect:
- Full corporate induction training, a personalised development plan and ongoing support in a friendly, enjoyable, encouraging work environment;
- A competitive salary to match your experience and skills;
- Additional benefits package including company pension scheme, share save scheme and staff discounts;
So if this sounds like something you can't miss out on, what are you waiting for? Apply today!
