This Accounts Clerk job has become available due to success within the business and increased workload. This is a good opportunity for someone who currently works within an Administration role who would like to develop skills within accountancy and finance.
Your new role
Your role as an Accounts Clerk will involve all aspects of administrative support to the team, covering duties such as handling incoming calls and emails from clients, directing all enquiries to the relevant contact within the team, providing administrative support to senior staff with duties such as bookkeeping and VAT returns, as well as general tasks such as data input, scanning, filing and reception cover.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed within this Accounts Clerk job, you will need to have a keen and proactive attitude towards your role, you will understand the importance of professionalism as you will be in regular contact with important clients, it is essential that you have a good understanding of MS Office, in particular Word and Excel. It would be an advantage if you have worked in a similar environment but this is not essential.
