This is who you are...

To be successful in this role we’re looking for you to have;

  • Significant experience of working in a data environment having manipulated and analysed large data sets
  • Good knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms
  • Experience of building visualisations and working with associated tools
  • Extensive experience of using relevant programming language such as R, Python, SAS or SQL
  • Expert knowledge with MS Office including Excel and Access
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Ideally you’ll have Insurance experience, however, this isn’t essential
  • Able to effectively manage people

This is the job…

This key role will report into the Underwriting and Pricing Director. In this strategic role you will play an important part in defining the best use for the available data, building ways of visualising that data and maximising the value gained. Working closely with the Underwriting & Pricing Director you’ll develop a pricing strategy.

We’ll need you to analyse data identifying trends, complete impact analyses of rate changes and investigate external data sets to enrich the MGA’s current data.

You’ll chair regular pricing meetings and propose changes to MGA pricing structure to maximise competitive position and profitability, overseeing and contributing to the production of regular reports presented at these meetings.

We are offering a starting salary of up to £50,000, subject to your experience.
