Client Details

  • A Hull based manufacturer


  • Co-ordinate the Bill of material Team to cover all aspects of preparation of new material/labour costings to produce accurate BOM's, standard options, and non standard options in accordance with the New product development schedule
  • Support on an ad hoc basis with the maintenance of BOM's information
  • Perform regular feedback checks on new product costings once they are in full production
  • Oversee the control of the production schedule for new products
  • Produce VAT pricing files for standard BOM's
  • Facilitate workshops to set Selling Prices for new products
  • Produce price approval documents for the design team for new projects and provide them with target material spend
  • Produce BOM estimates with the design team
  • Create first stage master data
  • Carry out process validation checks


  • Qualified accountant CIMA / ACCA / ACA
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Good experience of preparing Bill of materials
  • High level of I.T. skills
  • Organisation skills, being efficient and effective
  • Proactive
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent understanding of company-wide processes
