The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Group Accountant for the group finance function based at our offices in Reigate, Surrey. This role will support the Head of Finance, Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and Operations Finance Director with various accounting duties. The will role involve assisting with preparing Statutory Accounts, Tax returns, preparation of management accounts, forecasts, budgets and business analysis. There will be an overall responsibility for the management of Group’s cash balances, recording of all payable/receivables, raising of sales invoices, ensure compliance with business governance and legislation, develop and maintain KPI’s. This role will involve getting involved with continuous improvement projects and implementing better ways of working.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with the ability to forge part of a team where a hands on approach is required. You will have previously worked the full spectrum of accounting from processing payments to preparing accounts and be willing to work closely with the team to meet deadlines. You will have excellent communication skills to engage your stakeholder group as well as the wider finance team. As this is a varied role you will need to organise your time effectively with good attention to detail. From a reporting perspective you will be able to manipulate data using OLAP and Business Intelligence tools.
