About the role
We have a great role with a buy to let and residential mortgage lender based in Staines for a Telephone Business Development Manager
The successful candidate will develop relationships with Mortgage Brokers over the phone, communicate the company's mortgage product proposition. This role doesn't involve actual selling, its more relationship building with brokers.
Responsibilities and Experience required for the role of Telephone Business Development Manager
- Develop effective telephone relationships with mortgage intermediaries, networks, clubs and packagers
- Manage key accounts effectively to achieve KPIs across quality and quantity measures
- Identify and maximise relationship and business development opportunities
- Answer inbound telephone queries, acting as subject matter expert
- Answering intermediary queries via the webchat portal.
- Ensure key accounts are kept fully and promptly informed of any changes to criteria, product, service or terms via e-mail, phone and the website.
- Attend relevant trade shows to represent the organisation (where required).
- Deliver support to field-based Key Account Managers.
- Experience of working in the mortgage industry is essential gained with either a lender, broker or packager
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Strong telephone communication skills
- A background of relationship building or client management
- Good computer literacy especially in MS Office
- Enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a team
