Specialist transport company KB Event Ltd are looking to fill the following full-time vacancy with immediate effect.

Finance Assistant/Administrator

Working within a small friendly team and based at our Pinxton Head Office, this extremely varied and interesting role will play an integral part of our team.

Although experience in an accounts team is not essential (as full training will be given), the right candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills, and have a flexible, hands-on approach to being a member of a larger, Operational team. The ideal candidate will also be able to work in a busy, open-plan office.

Key tasks will include, but are not limited to:-

  • Sales invoicing via computer input
  • Weekly payroll input and record maintenance
  • Cash reconciliation, credit control
  • Filing, answering telephone and ad hoc duties as the Business's needs require
  • Production of weekly and monthly management information

In addition, a reasonable knowledge of Microsoft Excel is desirable, and experience in the use of computerised accounts systems would be an advantage.

This is a unique opportunity to develop a new role working within a growing business servicing the Corporate and Entertainment sector.

Working hours will be 09:00 - 17:30, Monday - Friday with one hour for lunch.

20 days annual holiday + statutory holidays.
