The company has been going from strength to strength over the past 2 years, experiencing 50% yoy growth in the UK. They are an international business with it's other main operations in France and the US. 20 strong in the office in London, they have a family feel environment that is passionate and ambitious about driving the business forward. Your new role
You will be supporting the Finance Controller and Director in the smooth running of the finance function for the business. Acting as the Management Accountant you will be responsible for reviewing the management accounts, supporting with month, quarter and year and closures as well as ensure the smooth running of the purchase, sales and general ledgers. Duties will include:
- Reviewing the P&L, identifying discrepancies and providing analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Billings and credit control
- Processing expenses
- Cash reconciliations
- Aged debtor and credit reporting
- Accruals, prepayments and journal postings
What you'll need to succeed
You must be enthusiastic about working for a growing SME tech business, helping drive process improvements and developing the finance function. You will need at least 3 years experience to be suitable for this role, have sound double entry and month-end closure knowledge. You should be comfortable completing balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing the P&L. Your accounting knowledge should be such that you can identify discrepancies and errors in the financial reports. You can be a graduate or taken the AAT route but you must be ACCA part qualified.
