Customer Service Administrator

Principal duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for efficient administration and achieving paperwork targets.
  • Processing of incoming client e-mails and post.
  • Processing of incoming company e-mails and post (including CUE & validation checks).
  • Updating claim information.
  • Confirming No Claim bonus proof with other insurance companies.
  • Assist department to achieve performance measures on administration targets.
  • Contacting policy holders to request outstanding documentation.
  • Performing MID checks and checking finance agreements have been arranged.
  • Communicating with Customers using Live Chat
  • Other duties, projects and objectives as assigned


  • Focus on customer care and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent telephone manner and call handling techniques are required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate and correspond professionally with all customers.
  • Ability to perform efficiently and effectively working under pressure in a call centre environment.
  • Ability to work and participate as part of a team in order to meet personal and team service targets.

Salary: Dependent upon experience.

Plus additional Bonus payments available monthly: -

Customer Service Bonus - £125 per month maximum (£1,500 per annum).

Attendance Bonus - £500 Maximum bonus (per annum).

Previous Exp: Proven track record in dealing with motor and/or household insurance Minimum 2 year’s previous motor and/or household insurance experience.

Shifts: Maximum 40 hours per week:

9.00 - 5.30 Monday - Friday

1 in 3 Saturday’s. 9.00 - 5.00
