Digital Marketing Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Digital Marketing Manager to join our team based at our head office in Ipswich, Suffolk.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading name in the Travel & Leisure industry; a constantly evolving business which continually works to define and refine the customer experience. This position will continue to play a pivotal role in future growth and development of the organisation. We are looking for a genuine leader to help shape and develop the online presence, digital strategy and process in order to support and enhance existing company objectives; a creative yet strategic thinker with an exceptional grasp of ROI and general commercially driven activity, ideally within a top tier E-commerce business.
General responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager will include:
Developing and improving digital platforms ensuring continuous improvement in the customer experience, from pre-booking and on board, through to post cruise
Working closely with the IT / project department to support the co-ordination of the technical development of system solutions
Researching and reviewing the digital landscape as well as industry/competitor analysis
Managing specific areas of the digital marketing team, including the website, social media, video, digital copy-writing, usability testing and mobile technologies
Aligning the digital marketing strategy with corporate sales and marketing programmes / objectives
Coordinating the work of external agencies, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time and on-budget
As the successful applicant, you will be forward thinking, marketing focused and have previous e-commerce experience. You will have a thorough understanding of the development of software solutions alongside sound project management skills and a solid commercial acumen. Further to this, you will have previous exposure to direct and digital marketing in an electronic medium, the ability to think up new ideas and have the ability and experience to manage staff.
