Operations Team Leader

Our Client are a specialist in their field, they offer and design bespoke holidays throughout the UK, Europe and beyond and are very customer service focused. Not only do they offer bespoke holidays, they offer group challenges to corporate companies, educational establishments and for charities; offering tailored programmes to meet individual needs.
As Operations team leader, you will be responsible for between 2-5 (seasonal) staff all focussed on event/trip delivery and Client/Customer Satisfaction. You will get to know your client and their requirements through in depth consultations, in which you will then offer a bespoke package tailored completely to their needs. You will liaise with suppliers & clients alike to ensure bespoke packages come together smoothly and effectively by co-ordinating alongside transport companies, accommodation facilities and leaders.
You will be dealing with a variety of different clients, from Directors of World-wide companies to small local charities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that has a love and passion for the outdoors, likes variety with the added responsibility of leading a small team and adding value to the business. £23,000 - £27,000 + Annual Bonus
(Salary progression with Long Service)

Hours of Work
0900-1730 Monday- Friday (1 hour for Lunch)
There may be occasional weekend working during busy periods and the potential for on call requirements.
Is this job right for you?
To be considered for this role you will ideally be degree level qualified, possibly have previous experience in leading a successful team, event delivery and driving business growth forward. Experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential as training can be put in place for the right candidate. You will have extensive verbal and written communication skills and must be confident dealing with a variety of people from all walks of life. You should be Customer focused, a self-starter and an excellent role model for your team.

- Managing and leading a team (2-5 seasonal staff)
- Off season business/product development
