Due to expansion and growth, our client, an independent firm of chartered accountants in New Romney, is looking for a candidate that wishes to start a career in accountancy as an Accounts Clerk.

Previous customer service experience is desirable as the successful candidate will be dealing with a wide variety of clients from sole-traders through to limited companies. Previous experience working with Microsoft packages is essential, as well as client discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
*Analysing data with the use of Excel,
*Use of accounting software such as Sage, Iris and Xero,
*Completing VAT returns,
*Completing accounts as provided by the client.

The client is offering a salary of £15,000 - £20,000 which is negotiable dependent on experience. Full training will be provided to all new starters to ensure every success in their accountancy career.

The ideal candidate will have:
*The ability to work well under pressure,
*A proven track record of working with figures,
*An adaptable and flexible attitude,
*Confidence when using computers in particular Microsoft packages.
