Marks Sattin are currently working with a leading international business based in York to appoint an Assistant Accountant on a 12 month contract with a possibility of becoming permanent after. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and is responsible for a wide range of duties:

  • Reconciliation and control of month end close down
  • Preparation of overhead analysis for cost centre managers
  • Budget - creation of revenue files and assisting in the budget process
  • Assisting the Finance Manager and Finance Business Partner
  • Cash book postings
  • Bank reconciliation for GBP and other currencies
  • Reconciliation of company credit cards
  • Expenses
  • Petty cash control and reconciliation
  • Intercompany reconciliation
  • Recharging of invoices
  • Update sales reports
  • Recharging of invoices
  • Adhoc duties
  • Preparation of Capex journals and additions register
  • Competition of Tax packs
  • Credit control
