Audit & Accounts Senior
We are a small Central London Practice currently looking to recruit an Audit and Accounts senior to join our team. Are you an ACA/ACCA newly qualified/qualified and looking to take the next step in your career?
The role is split between approximately 30% audit and 70% accounts, tax and ad hoc assignments. The audit element requires you to be very hands-on during the process and it is therefore essential that you have previously led audits from the planning stage through to completion. You will find yourself having sole responsibility at times whilst with some jobs you will be required to manage semi-senior and junior audit staff. At all times you will be reporting directly to the Audit Partner.
The accounts element requires a thorough understanding of small businesses as you will be involved in the preparation of sole trader, partnership and small Limited Company accounts together with relevant tax work.
The role is a good opportunity for a candidate who has small to medium firm experience and wants to take on a role with greater responsibility and the scope to expand your technical knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital as you will be liaising with staff, Partners, clients and third party organisations.
