Please note that the post will initially be based within Glasgow City Alcohol & Drug Services but due to ongoing service review, this may be subject to change. We have a vacancy for a forward thinking clinical psychologist to join our small but friendly addiction psychology team. The post is part of a well-established service, providing an opportunity to work in an integrated health and social care addiction setting. You will play a key role in the provision of a high quality, evidence based clinical psychology service. In addition to working individually and in groups with clients who present with addiction problems and co-morbid mental health conditions, you will provide advice, training and consultancy to the wider addictions and mental health workforce. You will be expected to contribute to the development of the addiction psychology service and participate in research and audit, in line with service priorities. You will be encouraged to develop a specialist clinical interest and continued professional development is strongly supported. We co-ordinate the addictions teaching component and have close links with the Glasgow University Doctorate Course in Clinical Psychology. You must be registered with the HPCP as a Clinical Psychologist. The shift pattern is 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme. Please see Personal Spec for Knowledge and Experience for post. PLEASE READ AND SAVE THE CANDIDATE APPLICATION PACK BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. This post will be closing on the 27th April 2018.
