My award-winning client is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Clerk with at least 12 months experience within an Accounts Payable function. This prestigious organisation is one of the UK’s leading construction and manufacturing organisations that are a part of a massive retail group and Because of continued expansion and growth, the Accounts Department now requires further additions to its lively Purchase Ledger team.

As an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk, the following attributes are desirable to my client:

  • Weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Processing high volumes of multi-currency invoices
  • Reconciliations of Purchase Orders and Goods Received Notes
  • Month end bank reconciliation
  • Dealing with staff expense claims and credit card expenses
  • Reconciling supplier statements

The following attributes are not essentials but would be very desirable:

  • AAT studier
  • Experience of processing high volumes of invoices for payment accurately and within deadlines
  • Previous experience within a car dealerships accounts team
  • Knowledge of purchase ordering systems
