Ticketing Executive – GDS

Base salary to £32,000 + Benefits

Central London

My client is a leading travel company specialising in both corporate and leisure travel arrangements.

They are now seeking to recruit an experienced Ticketing Executive who is fully proficient in GDS ideally Worldspan and Amadeus.

The role will suit someone who is looking for flexible working hours including shift work which is between 8am-10pm Monday – Friday and between 8am-8pm on Saturdays.

The flexible hours required means that some home-working may be considered.

They will also consider a candidate on a part basis as long as they are to commit to 30 hours per week.

Ticketing Consultant Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensuring all published and consolidated tickets are issued accurately and efficiently

Providing fares and rules advice to Travel Consultants

Reissuing tickets

Calculating fare differences on published and consolidator fare bookings.

Contact airlines with regards to fare queries and setting up EMD’s

Processing ticketing on group bookings

Ticketing Consultant Experience and Skills Required:

Experience of using a major travel GDS system is essential

Previous Ticketing experience & reissuing of published and consolidated tickets is essential

Good knowledge of fares and ticketing published and net fare contracts

Good communication skills

Flexibility to work shifts

Ticketing Consultant Salary and Benefits:

Basic salary to £32,000 depending on experience
