Rate: TBC At Longley Park View, we build our care and activity plans around individuals, supporting, nurturing and encouraging them to live happy, fulfilled lives. We embrace the person centred care philosophy with individualised care needs. Our home Service users at Longley Park View are cared for in one of four units depending on their unique needs. With 59 beds across four units, each has a choice of two lounges and a spacious dining room. Service users can decorate their bedrooms to suit personal tastes and there are TV points in all rooms. Every bedroom has an accessible ensuite toilet. At Longley Park View, we understand the importance of good, nutritious food. Our varied restaurant style dining menu is developed with service users to ensure we cater for personal tastes and dietary preferences including religious and condition-specific requirements. We also have a café menu which is an alternative to our main daily menu, so that service users have choice throughout the day. Responsibilities: Plan & organise in house activities, including social activities & events with the Life Skills Co-ordinator Identify each Service Users needs whilst promoting independence and choice Assist in the development of weekly programmes ensuring all individuals needs are attained Plan and organise monthly resident’s meetings Risk assess planned activates and venues with the Life Skills Co-ordinator Access appropriate transport Monitor and review Service Users participation Help to organise and plan fund raising events You will need to be well organised and whilst you should be a good team player you should also be able to work on your own initiative and be able to follow instruction. Ideally we would like you to have a QCF (NVQ) Level 2 in Health & Social Care. Experience and involvement in social and recreational activities for Service Users and a full driving licence would be advantageous.
