We're looking for a qualified accountant to join us. You'll need to have first class interpersonal skills, have experience of managing or supervising a team, be diligent and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and be highly numerate and analytical with demonstrable critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You'll be managing a Finance team of 4 and will be responsible for; the production of accurate monthly management accounts to the agreed timetable the production of financial statements for all legal entities in the Group and work with the auditors to obtain a clean audit the management of the Group financial operations (sales order to cash, procure to pay; payroll and commissions) ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, effective controls are in place and processes documented Treasury management (cash, debt, credit cards) including credit control, cash collection and weekly cashflow forecast the administration of employee benefits and the agreements surrounding these in conjunction with the HR Manager. expense analysis. Analysing expenditure on a regular basis and looking for cost reduction opportunities Managing the implemention of a new general ledger (moving from Sage 50 to Microsoft NAV) the successful financial integration of acquisitions as the business grows the timely and accurate completion of financial, legal and tax due diligence questionnaires Tax compliance – Corporation tax, VAT, PAYE/ NI If you would like to be part of a growing business with ambitious targets that you think you could make a difference to then we'd love to hear from you.
