We are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join the team in our Mental Health Supported Living service in Deptford, Lewisham. As a Waking Night Support Worker you will be required to support people with a wide range of support needs to have meaningful and engaging lives. You will provide waking night support, taking responsibility for all aspects of the safety and security of the service and the people we support whilst on shift. You will provide an immediate response to the people you support in the event of a health or other emergency, taking prompt action as appropriate. This role is lone working and you will have input and support from the on call Manager as necessary. You will be required to take part in handovers at the beginning and end of the shift, reporting any observations or incidents to the incoming staff of which they need to be aware. A key part of the role will be establishing good relationships with the people you support to use a range of recovery oriented and person centred planning tools. Working as part of a team, you will work to a person centred support plan in a fast paced environment to meet the outcomes and life style choices of the people you support.
