Payroll Administrator Breedon on the Hill, Derby Permanent, Full-time Competitive Salary Breedon Group plc is the largest independent construction materials group in the UK. They operate the country's largest cement plant, two cement import terminals, around 60 quarries, 26 asphalt plants, 200 ready-mixed concrete & mortar plants and three concrete block plants, employing around 2,300 people nationwide. Breedon Group is currently seeking a Payroll Administrator, based at Breedon on the Hill in the East Midlands. You will be a key part of the busy Payroll team, processing the in-house Payroll Service with the greatest level of accuracy and efficiency. Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will assist the Payroll Team Leader in processing both weekly and monthly payrolls. Attention to detail and proactively recommending process improvements are key, as well as possessing outstanding communication skills. Main Duties Ensuring all payrolls are completed accurately and on time. Validating and signing off all quality related payroll checks and controls. Ensuring all relevant outputs are accurately produced and delivered on time to onward users (e.g. HMRC, Finance, Sites). Ensuring payroll process documents are fully updated and key processes are mapped and documented, including training material. Recommending process improvements. Liaising with key stakeholders regarding Payroll input requirements. Supporting the Annual Audit. P11d and P46 administration and reporting. Assisting with ad hoc payroll projects as required. The successful candidate will Possess Payroll experience. Have knowledge of HMRC statutory requirements. Possess strong analytical and IT skills especially Excel, and have strong attention to detail Be a confident communicator. Have experience of administering pension schemes. Be organised and adaptable to a rapidly growing organisation. Have ITrent software experience (desirable).
