Responsibilities of the successful candidate: Comply with all safety, health, environmental policies and procedures, hazard identification and reporting, corrective processes and current relevant legislation. Every production batch is to standard bill of materials. Energy reduction. Cost managed within existing budgets. Standards for testing created and used as reference within teams for analysis. It is essential that the successful candidate has a statistical, chemistry and physics GCSE or higher and experience working within a laboratory environment within a fast moving, safety and cost sensitive, manufacturing process and able to provide evidence of working within a laboratory environment where results are obtained through physical testing of product and those results are interpreted to optimise the process being used in production.
