Primary Care Business Development Manager - Ophthalmology
Evolve Selection are currently recruiting for a dynamic, leading Pharmaceutical organisation. Our client has an extensive product range within the Ophthalmology market. This exciting role will be working as a GP Representative across Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire region. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the most innovative, fastest growing companies within Ophthalmology.
A minimum of 18 months’ Pharmaceutical industry and Primary Care experience is essential.
Proven top performer around Primary Care sales.
Previous experience on this territory would be favourable as would experience within the therapy.
Good understanding of the NHS.
The ideal candidate will bring with them a strong network of HCPs on this territory and will be motivated about working in a fast-paced, growing Pharmaceutical company.
A positive approach with enthusiasm and tenacity, with a strong work ethic and motivated by challenging goals.
A team player who can also work with autonomy and use their own initiative.
Ideally ABPI qualified.
Improving GP and Nurse knowledge of product portfolio and disease area.
Working strategically with the Regional Account Team, including Hospital Account Managers and Healthcare Development Manager to highlight and educate GPs and Nurses about favourable pathways and protocols.
Gaining access to GPs, Nurses and influencers in the practices on this territory.
Increasing market share in each area in line with company objectives.
Achievement of sales targets and other key objectives.
Development and updating of monthly key account plans outlining tactical actions.
Completion of company CRM system to ensure accurate capture of customer information.
Ability to work with other company divisions towards a common purpose.
To consistently demonstrate energy and willingness to meet and exceed company and personal achievements.
Demonstrate an ability to overcome obstacles threatening to reduce sales growth on a territory.
To consistently demonstrate the ability to prioritise time, money and resources around identified key CCGs and GP Practices.
To demonstrate high levels of planning and with other key internal stakeholders produce and implement key account plans.
Consistently demonstrate the ability to understand customer needs and requirements at an individual and organisational level.
To agree a common purpose and to take responsibility for your part of any implementation plan.
