Finance Manager Telford Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week Permanent £30,000 - £39,000 per annum + 27 days holiday + stats + benefits Our client is a very well established business based in Telford. They are recruiting for a Finance Manager to the business on a permanent basis. The Finance Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and the main purpose of the role will be to manage the accounts team producing financial information for the company in a timely manner ensuring that the Company complies with all relevant legislation relating to statutory requirements. Main Duties To manage and administer the Company accounts and produce Monthly Management Accounts, Year End Financial Accounts and Balance Sheets and regular monthly reports to the parent company, including specified KPI’s. Day to day supervision and assistance with the processing of all accounts documentation relating to Sales, Purchases, Fixed Assets, Stock and Nominal Transactions including journals Day to day management of OPERA accounting system and provision of support and training where needed Act as signatory for all Bank transactions, including foreign currency movements and petty cash, and to produce cash flow forecasts to assist in planning Completion of control accounts which include but are not limited to the control of stock and management of stock transactions, Vat and other HMRC returns To provide information to the payroll bureau and to check and submit payroll documentation once processed to the Managing Director prior to submission for payment and to ensure HMRC and Pension payments are transferred within the timescales set Completion of all HR documentation and maintenance of the HR files including collation of holiday and sickness information, training records and provision of induction and appraisal documentation As part of the Management team to attend Management meetings as required assisting in the formulation and execution of Company strategy Ad hoc duties were appropriate and deemed necessary for the smooth running of the Company To be considered for this position you will have experience of working in a similar role, be qualified by experience or hold a formal accountancy qualification.
