Castle Employment are recruiting for an Assistant Category Manager for a well established business in the Scarborough area. Working as part of the Retail Sales team this is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful organisation.

The role would suit someone with previous experience of working in a retail environment & understands the principles of Category Management. You should also have strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analysing category data & providing reports to commercial teams
• Work closely with the sales team to maximise performance & ensure maximum distribution & delivery
• Build relationships with retails
• Responsible for implementation of field sales activity

The successful candidate will have:

• Knowledge of a retail environment
• Experience of working with data that requires analysing & interpreting
• Ability to persuade & influence others
• Strong skills for working with numbers & data analysis
• Ability to develop relationships with external & internal customers
