An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our client, a leading travel company, reporting into the Head of Marketing.
We are looking for a strategic, creative marketeer to become an integral part of the marketing team; they must be commercially minded and results driven. They must have experience of using market research to develop targeted marketing activity and the ability to choose the best channels to engage an audience. Measuring and highlighting success is key to the role, so the candidate must possess strong analytical skills. They will also also be charged with developing relationships with leisure partners to deliver further mutually beneficial commercial success.
The role is diverse, we are looking for a dynamic, motivated candidate who can work across multiple projects, delivering results.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
At least 5 years experience of working within a busy marketing department.
Proven experience of developing strategic, creative, marketing activity to varied audiences.
The ability to commission and translate market research, using insights to develop targeted marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of the media channels available and experience of media buying, including radio, press and outdoor.
The capacity to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
The ability to develop strong working relationships with partners, delivering activity to meet shared objectives.
The tenacity to appoint and manage external agencies and to effectively brief and manage their campaign input.
The vision to use innovation were appropriate to enhance communication with target audiences.
Brand management expertise.
Excellent copywriting skills and exceptional attention to detail.
The capacity to manage budgets, ensuing funds are spent effectively.
