The Company: An established provider offering training in a variety of sectors all over the UK. A respected name in the industry, specialising in over 30 Apprenticeships nationwide, and well-known for the quality of training delivered. This organisation is going through a successful period of controlled growth, and is keen to employ passionate training professionals to service recently awarded contracts throughout the UK. It's been a successful year for our client - boasting excellent completion achievement rates, a string Ofsted Grade 2 Inspection, and multiple "Contract Wins" across SFA, Levy, ESF, and AEB provisions. The Role: We're looking for a passionate, driven Employability & Functional Skills Coordinators/Tutors to deliver frameworks centred in Hertfordshire. The position will involve visiting learners and assessing/tutoring Functional Skills level 2 in Numeracy, Literacy, and ICT, and continue to support the learner's journey throughout their qualification. The second part of this role is to support and assist learners into securing suitable employment/training opportunities. The role will involve supporting learners throughout their qualification via a variety of assessment methods. This role would be perfect for an experienced and passionate Functional Skills Tutor, Employability Tutor or Learner Support Tutor, Employment Consultant or Support Advisor that have a genuine care for people development. The Candidate: A strong occupational background in Training/Tutoring is required for this position, as well as being a qualified Tutor/Trainer. Previous experience delivering training in a classroom environment (one to one delivery) is desirable. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational qualities, strong communication skills, and great attention to detail with the ability to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision. E-portfolio experience would also be a distinct advantage & a car driver is a must. Qualifications Required: • Assessor award (A1, TAQA, D32 etc.) - desirable • Training qualification (PTLLS, CertEd,7407 etc.) • Level 2 or equivalent (minimum) in Numeracy, Literacy & ICT • Experience working with Learner-Referral Agencies (such as Jobcentre-Plus) is advantageous • Experience with ESOL is desirable • A degree Salary & Benefits: • Starting salary is £25,000 depending on qualifications & experience • Mileage allowance paid from home • Excellent holiday package • Pension contribution scheme • Genuine CPD opportunities
