Your new company

You will have the opportunity to complete day to day supply positions in various local secondary schools.
Your new role
As a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) working through Hays, you will have the opportunity to put your recently learnt skills to the test in classrooms in various schools on a supply basis, following the completion of your studies in June or July. if you have a permanent post for September, this allows you to keep your skills sharp and ready before you start in September. If you don't have a permanent post yet, you will be able to network in local schools, showing off what you can do in the classroom, with a view of a longer term or permanent post having made an excellent impression in that school.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be about to complete your PGCE or Schools Direct course. You will need to be committed and dedicated to ensuring that you are the best possible NQT you can be and be prepared to be thrown into a challenging environment where you will have to think on your feet. This is a great opportunity to network in new schools and put your teaching skills to the test. You will be expected to deliver high quality lessons to different students, ensuring all students make progress and are well behaved.
